Welcome

We welcome you to our cattery dedicated to the Maine Coon cats!

My name is Simone M. Wilske, I’m from Germany and since 1989 I live in Italy with my partner Massimo Busbani. Together we live in Appignano, a small town located near Macerata, in the Marche region. In Appignano we have found a real paradise for our animals and us. I speak German, English a bit of Spanish and Italian.

Here we have a lot of space, and the traffic is far away from us. We both have a big passion for all kind of animals, but the ones we like the most are Quarter Horses, Australian Shepherds and of course Maine Coons.

Our motto is “breed for quality and not for quantity”. That is why we don’t have many litters, and kittens are not always available. Reliability is a priority in our small cattery. Our purpose is and will always be to have cats with a typical aspect and temper: a giant structure, a sound and happy mind, and cats in high spirits. In facts, we love Maine Coon for their character and build. That is why we breed with passion and love. Our cats have free access into a large garden with trees, where they can sleep under the sun or hunt small prey like insects and so on. Our cats also have free access into our home, as they are part of the family.

Our preference goes to the color brown Tabbies, torbies, red, blue, solid. We love the Maine Coon's in all colors!!!
Breeding is our hobby and even if it requires a lot of dedication and sacrifice for us is just a pleasure to spend time with our furry friends, important members of our family.

According to our way of breeding is important to give them the opportunity to develop the natural instinct, let them have free access to a wide green space. The presence of trees allows them to play, sunbathe or go hunting for some insects when they wish. Even our house is completely open to our animals.
We devote ourselves completely to our adults as well as our kittens, so that they become affectionate cats, while keeping intact their character and instinct.

The health of our Maine Coon is the most important think to us. They are regularly tested by a qualified Veterinarian, with specific screenings as well as disinfestations in the places where the cats live.

But we would like to remind that our Maine Coon cats have a way life in large spaces and well aired, where viruses are difficult to proliferate, and cats live a healthy and natural life.
We do not want our friends to be locked in a room with little light and air, but we like to have them around us at home in every room, and we guarantee their cleanliness , hygiene and care, just as we do for ourselves.
